Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States. The artist of this bronze was also a renowned sculptor who kept a studio in Utah for a portion of his career. Riswold also sculpted the Mormon Battalion Monument on the Capitol lawn, the sphinxes at the entrance to the Masonic temple in Salt Lake City, the columns at the entry gate of Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City, and more.
