UTA is offering special service until March 10 between the Courthouse TRAX Station, the State Capitol and the North Temple FrontRunner Station. The service runs every 15 minutes from approximately 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Learn more here.
Parking is free at most UTA stations outside of downtown Salt Lake City (parking is not available between 900 South and North Temple). There is a private paid parking lot directly west of the Courthouse Station. More downtown parking options can be found at parkingslc.com.
Riding is Free
Because most of Route 500/500 Special (Capitol Connector) is in the free fare zone, you can ride free between Courthouse Station and North Temple. See flyer for details.
Schedule/Where to Board
(For exact times and key stops consult the schedule)
Courthouse Station – On the :00s and :30s of each hour, board the 500 “North Temple” at the stop at 400 S. West Temple. On the :15s and :45s of each hour, board the 500 Special Capitol Connector at the stop on Main Street, directly east of the TRAX station.
North Temple – Board the 500 “Salt Lake Central” or 500 Special every 15 minutes.
Return trips: Return on the 500 or 500 Special. Just be sure to check the front of the bus to verify the direction you’re headed – “Courthouse/Salt Lake Central” or “North Temple.”
