Field Trip Funding

The Capitol Preservation Board is thrilled to share good news about ongoing legislative transportation funding for tours during the 2018-2019 school year. The Capitol Preservation Board has received $200,000.00 to assist in reimbursement of transportation costs incurred by visiting the Utah State Capitol.

Educators may bring students to the Capitol during the legislative session, or anytime during the school year to join in a docent led tour, or a self-guided tour and request for reimbursement of transportation costs.

The Capitol Preservation Board is also excited to accept requests for funding to visit the Spike 150 Gold Room Exhibit, on display at the Utah State Capitol from May 3rd, 2019 through June 24th, 2019.
